Here is the project I was putting binding on the other night.  Another Hooded Baby Towel and Washcloth gift set.

I have a friend who is having a baby tomorrow, so it was the perfect opportunity to make another hooded towel.  Here's a link to the first one I made.    And here is the tutorial I used.

This time I went ahead and cut my triangle at 13 inches instead of 15.  It turned out to be a much more realistic size for a little baby head, I think.

The fabrics I used were Amy Butler prints.  The flower fabric is Soul Blossoms Honeydew and the other is Full Moon Lotus Dot-Pink.  (in case you're curious.)

All of the Soul Blossom line is on Sale for $8 a yard at my local Quilt Shop, yahoo!.  I'll show you something else I made with that fabric line tomorrow.

 Happy Sewing!

  1. That is just beautiful! I'm jealous that she's getting it and not me! But since I don't have a baby anymore maybe I should just run over there and buy a few yards for a bag or something. 🙂
