Farmer's Market update: To answer your question, Liz, no it did not all sell.   I sold the big brown and orange bag and this little blue and white one I had made before.

So 2 out of the 9 bags I took sold.  Which I'm thinking is good because Stephanie is selling again this weekend and I won't have to make much to send with her.

Switching gears... I went to a Baby shower last week...or was it the week before that??... anyway here is a little onesie dress I made to take.

I looked for tutorials out there but all of them chop off the onesie bottom.  I made the length of the skirt too long so it quickly became empire waisted.  MOM has been making these a bit so I'm hoping for a tutorial or pattern from them so I can get it right.

And lastly... I had a great idea last night.

a friend called me and said she needed to make 10 matching ties for kids of all ages and asked me to help her figure out how to make them.  I instantly referred her to the Purl Bee tutorials. That got me thinking... Halloween is on Sunday this year, so why shouldn't all my boys have matching Halloween ties? I think I'll be putting this fabric to good use for them.

  1. Sarah, getting the right length on the onsie dress was one of the hardest things. But when I thought about a little baby, really, how much length do they need past where the onsie snaps? Only a few inches really. I used that as my reference.

  4. I need to make another onesie dress by Saturday, so I'll make note of the length.

I can't wait to see all the matching ties. Cute idea!
