Here's my promised last post with pictures from our trip to Quilt Market. I know, I'm slow, a lot going on over here.   I left Quilt Market absolutely inspired! I took a lot of pictures there so I wouldn't forget what I saw, and I thought I'd post a bunch more for those of you who are like me and scour blogs for quilt market pics. Maybe you will get inspired too!

First some more pictures of our favorite booths.

Jennifer Paganelli/Sis Boom

CottonFansQuilting: We met these gals in the airport.   They are so nice and so fun. I love how they put a ton of colors together in Funky Flock quilt. They were there promoting their book Hot Flashes of Inspiration: Cool Quilted Projects from Warm Women..

Cluck, Cluck, Sew -We met Allison too, she was so nice.  I love her fresh designs.

La Todera: These fabric flowers were AMAZING!!  She sells patterns on how to make them and designs her own fabric as well.

Skip Stone Creative: She had really cute stuff.  This picture doesn't do it justice.  She even gave us a couple of patterns to try out.  I show you when I make them.  I think those horses need to be on my couch for the Christmas season (though I don't think they are meant to be Christmasy)!

Stamped by Ellen Luckett Baker with the Kokka booths. I like to read Ellens Blog so it was fun to stumble upon her fabric too.

Cute new fabric line called Les Amis by Patty Sloniger

Fabric covered books in the Valorie Wells booth
 Liberty Art Fabric
 Kokka booth

...and Alexander Henry
Of course there were Hundreds more I could show you. One of the things I left quilt market thinking was that I need to sew more quilts.  Here is some Quilting inspiration.

Rainbow chevron flowers at the Riley Blake booth
This Michael Miller Hexi quilt was made with using Striped fabric so you don't have to piece it all.
There was also an enormous Quilt Exhibit that was almost as large as the vendor area. Here are a couple from the Modern Quilt Guild

And some that are hard to tell they were even made of fabric.

This one show the intricate quilting from the back

And one from a Quilter in Spain who created this from an old picture of her mother.

Wow, right!?
We also met a ton of our favorite designers and made lots of new friends.
Meg from Sew Liberated
 Tula Pink

And Ty Pennington. Yes he designs quilting fabric too.
All and all we had such a great time, I loved that my Mom and Sis came along too. I am hoping to not forget all this inspiration hope you got a little inspiration out of the pictures as well.
Happy Sewing! I'm off to make Thanksgiving napkin rings to take for a church display tonight.

  1. Didn't you just die when you saw all of those quilts. I know I did the first time I was there. Until you see it for yourself, it's really hard to explain.
