Over spring break I decided sew up a new top for myself, and then I got sick and it sat unfinished.  This morning I hemmed it...yipee!

I used the Schoolhouse Tunic Pattern from Sew Liberated. I made the shirt length version.   I have the hardest time making decisions when it comes to fabric choices for clothing.  I figured I'll never get good at it unless I just start making some choices, wrong or right.

For this shirt I used Project Runway fabric I found on sale at Joann. It is kind of a crosshatched pattern with a little shimmer to it though you can't tell from the photos. I think it works.

A big thank you to my 5 year old for these pictures taken on a drizzly morning.

Oh, and I'm linking this up to  Make it and Wear it and Rae's Spring Top Sewalong
