Doug gave me a serger for Christmas. Here it sits waiting to be incorporated into my sewing area. I've wanted a serger for a while but had mixed feelings about letting Doug get one for me because of the price tags on these babies. Mainly I wasn't sure how much I would use it. On Christmas day I made a little shirt for Jacks stuffed fox and for Christmas I made Wavey a pair of cuffed pajama pants with it. My third project I completed this morning. It was freezing outside when I got up to go running (well low 40's but that's cold for me). While I was waiting for Doug to get back from his run I whipped up a little polar fleece ear warmer. It took less than five minutes.I guess I need to get some spools of black thread.

And yes I was warm on my run, thankfully.
