DIY Craft Felt Pom Poms

 

I had fun playing with pom poms today and came up with a different way of making them. They turn out big and fluffy and I love them! Can you guess what they're made of?  Craft felt! You know, the cheap sheets of felt you can buy at the craft store. Let me show you how to make them.

Big Kid Face Mask - Free Pattern

Hello Sewing Friends!! I don't know about you but it is high time we refreshed our handmade masks over here. My littlest grew out of his small masks so I created a free pattern for one that is just the right size for big kids who don't quite fit into adult sized masks yet. 

DIY Party Favor: Pom Pom Pencils

Have you tried making pom poms? A few years ago I went through a pom pom making craze and made ton of them. They are so fun and fast and colorful. Once you learn how to make them with out any tools but your hands and a pair of scissors you won't be able to stop making them. They are great fun to make with friends as a summer boredom buster. Here is a fun idea of what to do with all those pom poms you can't stop making. Put them on a pencil! 

Pat the Bunny Puppet Pattern

 
We love the book Pat the Bunny at our house.  We had a birthday party to go to for a cute little one year old and I thought it would be fun to give him this little book with a little something handmade to go with it.  So I whipped up a little Bunny Puppet for his older siblings to show to him and play.  I like how it turned out so much that I thought I'd share the pattern with you all!
